Thank you to Dr. Lin, his staff, and nurses! I had my initial consultation for a breast reduction and tummy tuck after an 80-lb weight loss in October 2023, a second consultation in January 2024, and scheduled my surgery for April 3rd. I am now 6 weeks post op. A few notes on my experience: - I had my consultations and one of my follow-ups with Calley Lynch who was fantastic. She answered all of my questions, took pre op photos, and explained the process. - I then worked with Phyllis to schedule my surgery. She was also extremely helpful. I was given a list of medications to stop a few weeks prior to surgery, however I am on a GLP-1 and it was not listed (must be stopped 2 weeks prior to surgery), so I think the sheet needs to be updated. I also wish I was given a bit more written detail on the medications I'd be prescribed, dosing schedule, scar care, swelling timeline, etc. ahead of time. - About a week prior to surgery I got a call from a nurse who went over my medical history and what to expect the day of surgery. - The morning of surgery Dr. Lin spoke with me and was meticulous in marking me up. He really listened to what I wanted - it's clear he takes a lot of pride in his work. The anesthesiologist explained every step, and the nurses were so kind. - I got my drains out about a week after surgery, but was extremely swollen until about 4wpo. The first 1-2 weeks are very tough but Dr. Lin's team was always available to answer any questions. I am happy so far and look forward to seeing my final results in a few months! UPDATE 4/8 - I am now one year post-op and I am thrilled with my results. Dr. Lin and I set up follow up appointments every few months post-op. Everything healed well and I so appreciate Dr. Lin and his team. This was the best decision I could have made for myself!

My experience at BIMDC with Dr. Lin has been extremely amazing throughout my procedure. I had a breast reduction in late January and every step of the way has been super informative and helpful. I immediately felt shoulder and back relief post-op and was able to be back at my hands-on job 6 weeks after surgery. I work in a facility where I am required to lift up to 40 lbs on the daily and also continuously walk up and down stairs. I was more than comfortable returning thanks to the reassurance and guidance provided. The healing process went by well and I always knew I could reach out for any questions. It was such an amazing experience and I would recommend Dr. Lin to anyone interested. updated 11/2024: with now being 9 months post-op, my overall experience with BIDMC and recovery has been nothing less than perfect. I have healed so well from my procedure and from sharing my experience with other individuals who have gotten a breast reduction, I know that I am very lucky. The care I was provided not only during operation/post-op but through every phone call and office visit has been amazing. Such friendly and kind staff and such a wonderful experience overall.

Dr. Lin was fantastic, he did an amazing job on my rhinoplasty after I was in a cycling accident. I broke my nose in two places, and he helped me every step of the way. First with a closed reduction, then a rhino and septoplasty to help with breathing issues and cosmetic changes after the accident. My nose looks so natural to me, and I couldn’t be happier. Dr. Lin’s bedside manner is fantastic as well, I highly recommend.

The process was very smooth. Dr. Lin spent a lot of time answering all my questions. The recovery was much easier than expected, and the staff was amazing in the recovery room. All of the staff were open to answering questions, and reassuring any worries about the upcoming surgery. 6 month update: Happy with results, swelling has gone down like I was told. Appoints are quick and easy, no complaints. Very happy!

I came to Dr.Lin for a septoplasty, I had the same procedure in the past with another Dr and never felt much of a difference. I came to Dr. Lin after lots of research online and reading reviews and I have to say he lived up to the ratings. He and his team made the entire process very easy from start to finish are were very communicative. The amount of relief I feel after my procedure with him is life changing! I highly recommend Dr. Lin!

Wonderful experience with Dr. Lin and the staff throughout treatment. Very professional and receptive to patients. My breathing has improved significantly and feels more even on both sides. Since recovering from the surgery I feel more alert and less discomfort during allergy season. I'm also very happy with the cosmetic results and can't even tell that my nose was ever broken in the first place.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr Lin and his team. I had some apprehension and anxiety before starting the process of fixing my deviated septum, but once I met Dr Lin and his team, all apprehensions subsided. I was amazed that I had zero pain after surgery and was always able to get any questions answered timely and thoroughly. I am able to breath out of my nose for the first time in over 10 years. Overall, great experience.

The virtual course designed by Dr. Lin is very well structured and robust including readings, surgical videos, and quizzes along with lectures, case discussions and surgical video explanations. It covers all topics in Plastic Surgery very efficiently including wound healing, craniofacial and head and neck reconstruction, aesthetic surgery, hand surgery, upper and lower extremity surgery, breast reconstruction and gender affirming surgery. This is an excellent course that should be taken by anyone who wishes to enhance their knowledge in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and excel in achieving their goals for a career in Plastic Surgery. Dr. Lin is also an outstanding educator and provides an opportunity to have robust discussions and encourages students to ask any questions which helps in understanding the concepts very well. Most of all, Dr. Lin is very kind and motivating and takes out time to really get to know the students and provide them with the most valuable guidance.
