After about 30 years, I finally decided to have a previous rhinoplasty revised due to a constantly blocked airway and a whistling sound made by a perforated nostril (that would keep me awake at night). After a year of investigation, I learned that I was not an optimal candidate for revision surgery, so I set to conduct much more research in order to find just the right surgeon to address the numerous issues, including scar tissue, deviated septum and very uneven nostrils that plagued me for years. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Lin. Going in to my first appointment I wasn't sure what to expect, but I felt reassured and aware of what to expect going into surgery. He and his team were responsive and knowledgable about the procedure. Looking back I wish I had been prepared for how challenging it would be to eat, sleep and eat while the stents were in, but besides that I had a great experience.
