I would really recommend this clinical rotation to every student who wants to be in the surgery field, especially the ones interested in plastic and reconstructive surgery. You go from learning the basic plastic surgery principles to very specific topics. I was impressed by the detailed information you are able to learn in every procedure. You have the opportunity to view and discuss with the Doctor very rare and interesting cases and procedures. The feedback and discussion from the Doctor is invaluable.

I attended a 4 week plastic surgery rotation with Dr.Lin. He is a great professor and has conducted an amazing course. I learned so much from him in the short amount of time I was able to spend with him. He does a fantastic job of encouraging you to get involved and clarifies any doubts you may have through out the course. I highly recommend attending his rotation to anyone who has the opportunity.

Dr. Lin was an exceptional teacher and leader. I was exposed to many facets of plastic surgery in his course that I wouldn’t otherwise in any other elective. I highly recommend his elective to any student who is passionate about pursuing a career in Plastic and reconstructive surgery.

I had a breast reduction and lift about 3 months ago, I could not ask for a better doctor than Dr. Lin. They took very good care of me before and after the surgery, I had common complications with my wounds (delayed healing), but the doctor was always very receptive and answered all my questions, if I had to go the same day because I was feeling pain, the office was always opened to check me. My breasts are now symmetric and perky, I barely see the scar. I am very happy with the outcome of the surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Lin and his staff for their expertise and professionalism. He truly changed my life, no more back pain.

Dr. Samuel Lin is an amazingly talented and experienced surgeon! From the first time I spoke with him, I felt comfortable and in good hands. He performed a bilateral total capsulectomy on me after 2 years of experiencing BII symptoms and raptured implant. Now I feel like Dr. Lin gave me my life back, I feel alive and look alive again. I’m still amazed with how small incisions I have. Other than that I would like to mention how very little pain after the surgery I had, which shows how big of professional he is. If you are seeking a great plastic surgeon in the Boston Mass area, I highly recommend Dr. Samuel Lin. Dr. Lin and his entire team were very supportive throughout my whole process of getting my breast surgery in 2020. I still had continued support during my aftercare and during my entire healing process which was not as easy or hard, but new. Things you should consider is the scarring and nipple loss sensation that can happen. My scars are not that bad and are becoming lighter in coloration as I have used different products to help support that. Only one nipple has partial sensation loss that comes and goes but I utilize amazing therapeutic techniques that helps support stimulation. Again very minor after affects from my surgery but I am happy I did it and it has improved certain areas of my movement, comfort, and wellness. Most important is that I have recovered very well! Hopefully someone will find some inspiration in my story.
