I can't say enough good things about Dr. Lin and his staff. Not only his staff at the office at Shapiro but the staff at One Brookline Place where the surgeries are performed. I had THE best experience with every single person I met. They put all anxieties at ease immediately. Dr. Lin is so caring and so empathetic and truly a master at what he does. I had a fantastic experience with Dr Lin and his team. I had some apprehension and anxiety before starting the process of fixing my deviated septum, but once I met Dr Lin and his team, all apprehensions subsided. I was amazed that I had zero pain after surgery and was always able to get any questions answered timely and thoroughly. I am able to breath out of my nose for the first time in over 10 years. Overall, great experience.

The virtual course designed by Dr. Lin is very well structured and robust including readings, surgical videos, and quizzes along with lectures, case discussions and surgical video explanations. It covers all topics in Plastic Surgery very efficiently including wound healing, craniofacial and head and neck reconstruction, aesthetic surgery, hand surgery, upper and lower extremity surgery, breast reconstruction and gender affirming surgery. This is an excellent course that should be taken by anyone who wishes to enhance their knowledge in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and excel in achieving their goals for a career in Plastic Surgery. Dr. Lin is also an outstanding educator and provides an opportunity to have robust discussions and encourages students to ask any questions which helps in understanding the concepts very well. Most of all, Dr. Lin is very kind and motivating and takes out time to really get to know the students and provide them with the most valuable guidance.

Dr.Lin was a wonderful surgeon throughout my experience. He kept me informed prior to the procedure, during and after. Not only did he do a great job, the most important part of my journey was his availability after, when I had questions -one year or even today 8 years later. I deeply appreciate his understanding of my needs, and allowing me to be vulnerable.

I recently had a panniculectomy done then end of February with Dr. Lin. His beside manner, staff, and work have exceeded my expectations! Prior to surgery, the day of, and post op care the communication and level of comfort has been phenomenal. Another ENT at BIDMC referred me to Dr. Lin to help address issues breathing through my nose (deviated septum etc). Dr. Lin and his whole team have been great since day 1, I always felt listened to and they had the patience to explain the process the whole way. I did end up needing corrective surgery and Dr. Lin performed the surgery in early February. After just a few weeks I could already breath so much better and everything is healing well. I would highly recommend him and his team (all the residents, PAs and nurses were awesome). I also can't say enough about the kindness of the nurses at Baptist where the surgery took place.

I came to see Dr Lin when my post reconstruction breasts weren't feeling or looking their best. Dr Lin helped me to come up with a surgical plan which he carried out with great skill 2 months ago. I am happy to say that my breasts look and feel great! The team at Dr Lin's office and the surgical team were all wonderful- listening to my concerns and answering my questions before and after surgery. Great experience!
